Job Summary
The Social Media Handler / Content Creator will be responsible for managing our digital channels, capturing high-quality visuals, and crafting compelling content that elevates our brand identity. This role blends creativity with strategy and requires someone who can work independently while keeping pace with the dynamic hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photos and videos of food, drinks, ambiance, and in-house events
- Create engaging short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikToks)
- Develop and manage a content calendar with consistent posting across platforms (Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.)
- Monitor and manage DMs, comments, and online reputation
- Collaborate with chefs and bartenders to highlight new menus and seasonal items
- Cover live events including wine tastings, chef’s tables, and VIP nights
- Track content performance using insights and analytics
- Ensure visual content aligns with the brand’s fine dining tone: elegant, sophisticated, and exclusive
- Recommend strategies to boost engagement, visibility, and customer walk-ins
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Strong photography and videography skills, especially for food and lifestyle content
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, InShot, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and brand positioning
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during peak hours
- Excellent eye for detail, storytelling, and aesthetics
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in social media or content creation (preferably in hospitality or lifestyle brands)
- Proven experience in creating high-quality, organic video content
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in food, events, or luxury hospitality
- Experience managing content calendars and executing brand strategies
Note: Applicants may reside in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, or other states but must be willing to relocate. Accommodation is provided, but no relocation fee will be offered.
